Adam specializes in non-profit administration and development, governmental affairs, voting rights law and policy, ballot initiatives, and grassroots local and statewide policy advocacy.

He served as a State Senator in the Nebraska Legislature from 2014-2022 and currently serves as the executive director and founder of the civic engagement, civic health, and voting rights non-profit Civic Nebraska that employs over 100 full and part time staff. He is the founder and managing Partner of Civic Strategies, LLC, a full service policy, advocacy, and campaign consulting firm that has led and won local races and statewide ballot initiatives. His private law practice focuses on election law, civil rights, online harassment and defamation claims.

In a volunteer capacity he serves as the chairman and founder of the Nebraska Legal Action Fund to combat extremism and disinformation.

Adam lives in Lincoln Nebraska with his wife Rachel Morfeld-Ayalon and their dog Lily and very vocal cat, Sanjay. They enjoy camping, traveling, and successfully starting but rarely finishing puzzles.
